Firm, somewhat smoky and a hint of meaty scent of more black than red berries with tomato notes, pepper, lavender, a little tobacco, ash and hints of Mediterranean herbs. Taut, tangy, again relatively dark fruit with smoky, slightly toasty and again tobacco and herbal aromas, some pepper in the background, also tomato paste, present, fine sandy tannin, some bite, lasting, has power, mineral tones, very good, albeit slightly drying, in addition tangy and spicy finish with noticeable tannic grip.

Best to drink: 2023-2027+. What our ratings mean
