Clear, somewhat nutty, a hint of smokiness and a hint of pepper with inviting, slightly warm red and black berry tones and a hint of tobacco. Tart, relatively lean fruit with a noticeable acid bite and fine-sandy, youthful, yet crumbly tannins, planty to herbal notes, salt in the background, seems cooler than the nose suggests, good to very good, tart finish with a lot of acid bite.
