Very bright ruby to brick red. Nutty scent of predominantly red berries with very delicate resinous tones as well as a hint of forest floor and mushrooms. Straight, rather lean, tart fruit, nutty and mushroomy hints, moderate tannin, delicate acid bite, mushrooms in the background, citrus nuances, some salt, good finish. Undoubtedly well made, but a little more substance and depth would be desirable.
