2008 Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru AOC Clos de la Mouchere Premier Cru, Burgundy, France

Firm and quite deep, still youthful bouquet with fine citrus and pome fruit aromas, moderate wood spice, cool notes of ethereal herbs, nutty hints and a touch of coffee. Firmly woven, tart, dense fruit with nutty, delicately yeasty and hints of smoky-woody notes, taut, fine acidity, some grip, persistent and powerful on the palate but without any heaviness, intense, bright minerality, deep and persistent on the palate, still young, has tension, very good, firm, tart finish with nutty wood hints, some smoke, coffee, plenty of minerality and lots of draw. Will be able to mature excellently for a long time.
