Quite firm, tart, clearly smoky, dried-vegetable to herbal and fleshy-animalic aroma of black berries with some iodine, earthy hints and a touch of paprika and juniper. Taut, tangy fruit with nutty, very slightly bitter-chocolate and dried-floral flavours, some bite and still very slightly drying tannin, good substance and persistence, earthy and juniper tones, also salt in the background, very slightly muted in the otherwise very good, tart finish
