2022 AOC Graubünden Chardonnay "Unique", German-speaking Switzerland-Grison, Switzerland

Cool, firm and deep nose of bright yellow fruits with slightly smoky, herbal and almondy aromas, a hint of the finest root vegetables and hints of bright flowers as well as a noticeable salty minerality. Cool, dense and persistent on the palate with delicate hazelnut tones, noble citrus flavours and a hint of meadow flowers and wild herbs, fine, lively acidity, crumbly, still slightly drying tannins, enormous depth, clearly salty and chalky minerality, hints of vegetable oil and artichokes, has warmth, but also cooling and fresh elements, light wood notes in the background, long, cool, juicy and again salty finish. Gains weight over days; must mature.
