2022 AOC Graubünden Pinot Noir "Unique", German-speaking Switzerland-Grison, Switzerland

Fairly firm, deep, rather tart nose of rose hips and black berries with ethereal aromas reminiscent of spruce needles, some nuts and very delicate smoke, hints of black tea, forest floor and asphalt. Very dense, ripe, warm fruit, nutty, delicately smoky and tobacco notes, spruce needles again, present, mellow tannins, persistent on the palate, still clear barrel tones, very fine acid backbone, some dark chocolate and coffee, then a lot of salt, still a bit locked up, only hints at its depth and complexity, slowly opens up in the background tobacco and tobacco ash, very good to long, quite clearly resinous finish. Quite unique, but great.
