Tart scent of black berries, some pepper, juniper and a little roasted green asparagus. Rather dark, again tart fruit, bitterish-nutty and slightly woody tones, slightly drying tannin, some bite, noticeable alcohol, a hint of coffee and cocoa, not too deep, good, still slightly drying finish.

Best to drink: 2023-2026+. What our ratings mean
