2018 Gaillac AOC "Cuvée du Dôme" rouge, South-west France, France

Rather tart, slightly lavender-floral nose with red and black berry notes, earthy tones and a hint of juniper. Slightly developed, rather slender fruit, dried vegetal to herbaceous nuances, again some lavender, also dried flowers, relatively moderate and mellow tannins, fleshy and earthy notes, a hint of iron, certain persistence, hint of salt in the background, good finish.
