2015 Barolo DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly undergrowth aroma of predominantly red berries with lots of tar, some tobacco, leaves and mushrooms. Tart fruit in the mouth, slightly toasty and again tobacco wood aromas, present, somewhat sandy but relatively fine tannin, persistent and strong on the palate, nutty aromas, light bite, certain depth, very good, quite firm, juicy, bitter-woody and tangy-spicy finish with mineral notes and a touch of dried herbs
