Tart, quite firm and polished, somewhat peppery, leathery and hinted at animal-fleshy scent of predominantly black berries with a hint of Amarena cherries, some herbs and a light pencil note. Polished, fine, tart fruit with nutty barrel tones as well as nuances reminiscent of laurel and long pepper, fine sandy, still youthful tannin, good persistence, certain depth, salty minerality, a hint of paprika powder and smoke, very good, juicy finish with bite.
