2004 Veneto IGT Dagoberthus, Veneto, Italy

Partly dried and partly preserved red and black berries and cherries on the nose, some chocolate, sweetish herbs, dried floral notes, light smoky notes, sweetish roasted notes. Quite juicy, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, prominent, very slightly austere spicy oak, light perfomed and floral notes, fine dusty, slightly astringent tannins, integrated acidity and well integrated sweet notes, persistent with some depth, delicate peppery notes, still young, quite a long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2020+. What our ratings mean
