2008 Colli Tortonesi DOC Timorasso derthona, Piedmont, Italy

Fairly mature nose, citrus fruit and some pomaceous fruit, light vegetal and herbaceous notes. Clear creamy fruit on the palate, vegetal and prominent herbaceous notes, very elegant acidity, quite full-bodied, sweetish and creamy, touch of woodruff, more prominent herbaceous notes on a good to very good finish.

Editor note: Dried yellow fruit on the nose, slightly burnt notes, dried herbs, wet undergrowth. Fairly mature, full-bodied, dried yellow fruit on the palate, slightly bitter herbs and spices, leaves and a hint of tea, integrated acidity, has character and shows its origin, quite full-bodied and has some substance, bitter and tannic notes on a good to very good finish.
