2007 Colli Tortonesi DOC Timorasso derthona, Piedmont, Italy

Ripe pomaceous fruit on the nose, earthy and vegetal notes, hint of fried bell peppers. Full-bodied on the palate, some slightly sharp alcoholic notes, delicately sweet preserved and partly jammy yellow fruit, some tart earthy notes, bitter in the background, integrated acidity, light tannic touch, noticeably alcoholic on an otherwise good finish.
