Slightly dried-vegetable to tobacco and a touch leathery scent with notes of black and red berries, hints of laurel as well as mushroomy and nutty tones. Clear, polished, fine-juicy, rather tightly knitted fruit, slightly nutty and hints of bitter chocolate aromas, very fine, ripe, youthful tannin, persistent on the palate, a touch of leather and tar, also a little dried tomato, very good, juicy and again slightly chocolaty-spicy finish with salty notes reminiscent of basil.

Best to drink: 2024-2030+. What our ratings mean
