2020 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Tuscany, Italy

Clear, firm, somewhat woody-spicy aroma of ripe black berries and sour cherries with slightly smoky and hints of tobacco flavours, some pepper, Mediterranean herbs and juniper. Taut, tart and juicy, rather cool dark fruit, firm, ripe tannins and a certain acid bite, coffee notes on the palate, a little smoke and dark chocolate, some dark ethereal spice, slightly minty herbal notes, salt in the background, has polish and a certain elegance, very good, firm, tart and juicy finish.
