2020 Coste della Sesia DOC Nebbiolo "Aralcader", Piedmont, Italy

Rather tart, somewhat tobacco-like aroma with black and red berry flavours, leathery tones, a little undergrowth, smoke, dried flowers and iodine. Ripe, somewhat warm, relatively juicy fruit, slightly smoky and roasted barrel tones, relatively crumbly tannins, dried vegetal nuances and tobacco on the palate, hints of juniper in the background, good persistence, has power, a certain depth, nutty and a hint of cocoa-spicy notes, very good, quite firm, again slightly warm finish.
