2020 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Tuscany, Italy

Fairly firm, somewhat nutty and woody-spicy aroma of black and a little red berries with a hint of tobacco and light chocolate-roasted tones. Clear, relatively tart, quite juicy fruit with a certain acid bite and present, fine sandy tannins, some bitter chocolate, coffee grounds and ashy notes on the palate, good persistence, slightly bitter, dried herb notes and salt in the background, a hint of tomato essence, very good, tart-juicy and spicy, firm finish.
