2019 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Vigna Poggiarso", Tuscany, Italy

Cedary and a hint of mint, also a little aromatic-smoky scent of ripe black berries with plum tones, dried floral nuances and a hint of iodine, mushrooms, parsley, pulled pork and soya. Clear, ripe, juicy fruit with Mediterranean herbs, cranberries and nutty traces, a little soy sauce, fine, youthful tannins and a delicate acid bite, persistent on the palate, a little tobacco and a hint of ash, notes reminiscent of aubergines and plums in the background, salty nuances, very good finish with a little soup greens and sesame oil.
