2018 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Vigna Trebbio", Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat tobacco and slightly coffee spicy aroma with warm black and also a little red berry aromas, hints of Mediterranean herbs, nutty tones and a touch of tar. Quite tightly knit, juicy fruit with tart, somewhat woody spice, present, ripe tannins and some bite, persistent on the palate, tobacco and herbal nuances, roasted nuts and again hints of tar, lots of power but rather limited substance, salty nuances, good to very good, only slightly drying finish.
