2017 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva "Borgaio", Tuscany, Italy

Slightly floral and ethereal scent of mixed berries and cherries with herbal notes and a hint of pepper. Ripe, juicy fruit with slightly roasted wood notes, some coffee grounds on the palate, fine sandy tannin, good persistence, has power and some warmth, a touch of citrus zest in the background, peppery notes again, also slightly earthy and salty, very good finish
