Clear, slightly smoky, somewhat vegetal to dried herbaceous, nutty and hints of meaty aromas of dark berries and a little plum with a hint of coffee grounds. Clear, firm, tart, juicy fruit with nutty wood flavours, very slightly reminiscent of marzipan, crumbly, still youthful tannins, good persistence, hints of pencil and ash, earthy minerality, a hint of leather and pepper on a good to very good, grippy and slightly acidic finish.
