Developed, fairly firm, slightly roasted and tarry aroma of black and red berries with tobacco flavours and a hint of plums. Tart, developed fruit, smoky, roasted and tarry flavours, a hint of pepper, slightly bacony nuances, present, slightly drying tannins, good persistence, a certain strength, some salt, very good, tart finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Ein wenig offener, ganz leicht aschiger Duft nach teils eingemachten, säuerlichen Kirschen und gemischten Beeren mit vegetabilen, tabakigen und leicht an Suppenkräuter erinnernden Tönen. Recht saftige und fest gewirkte Frucht im Mund, leicht kräuterige Töne, relativ moderates, würziges Holz und noch ein wenig trocknende Tannine, ein Hauch Gummi am Gaumen, im Hintergrund auch eine Spur Kakao, erdige Töne, gewisse Tiefe, sehr guter, wenn auch noch leicht spröder Abgang mit herbem Saft und Würze Spuren. Muss noch etwas reifen.
