Nutty and somewhat leathery aroma of ripe red and a little black berries with tobacco nuances, a hint of cocoa, marzipan as well as pepper and dried herbs. Tart, juicy, rather youthful fruit with present tannins and acidity, herbal-vegetable, delicately peppery and hints of tobacco on the palate, smoky traces, good persistence, mushroomy traces, has power, some salt in the background, also a little ethereal spice, quite clearly cranberries and a little chilli peppers in the very good, firm, tart finish. Should mature a little more.

Best to drink: 2024-2030+. What our ratings mean
