Firm, somewhat tobacco, leathery and a hint of bacon on the nose, predominantly black berries, some dried floral, earthy and herbaceous aromas, hint of dark ethereal spice. Firm, tart, juicy, dark fruit, herbal flavours, smoke and again peppery, juniper-like ethereal notes, some bite, firm, yet ripe tannins, persistent on the palate, quite dense, surprisingly cool despite all its power, salt and chalky tones in the background, has something mouth-watering, ashy traces, firm, consistently tart finish, again with surprisingly cool juice, freshness and spice. Still surprisingly young.
