2022 Colli Piacentini DOC Bonarda "orma di Irma", Emilia Romagna, Italy

Tart aroma of black berries and cherries with slightly bitter chocolate flavours and a hint of tobacco. Clear, slightly sweet dark fruit with tart smoky spice and again some bitter chocolate, fine sandy tannins and moderate perlage, a little coffee sediment in the background, some persistence, good to very good finish.
