Tart, somewhat tobacco, nutty and dried herbaceous nose, yellow fruit with a hint of aniseed and fine root vegetables. Still youthful, fairly firm fruit with a hint of yellow and herbal spice, lively, yet fine acidity, has some grip and good persistence, salty and chalky minerality, hints of pepper, nutty wood tones in the background, very good, somewhat smoky and bacony finish with bite.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
