2021 Piemonte DOC "Sibanè", Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat bacony-animalic and a hint of smoky, slightly tobacco-like aroma of more black than red berries with aromas of dried and preserved cherries, leathery tones, black olives and noticeable alcohol. Sweetish-tart, partly dried fruit, fine sandy, relatively drying tannins, smoky and bacony notes, coffee grounds and bitter chocolate in the background, hints of beetroot, not very deep, some acid bite and noticeable but integrated alcohol, a hint of tea, plum tones, good to very good, dried-fruity and coffee-spicy finish.
