2018 Roero DOCG "Tenuta Laramè - Tumlin Loreto", Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat nutty and dried herbal, slightly warm aroma of red and black berries with a hint of rose petals, pepper, smoke and leather. Ripe, yet tart, quite juicy fruit, nutty, hints of tobacco, herbal and delicately smoky tones, a little floral on the palate, present, fine tannin and some acidity bite, persistent, has power but also cooling elements, delicately fleshy hints in the background, almondy aromas, some salt, slightly perfuming wood tones, very good, quite firm, juicy and spicy finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2023 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
