Warm citrus scent with lemon verbena, light, nutty barrel notes, some surimi, hints of smoke, butter, pomaceous fruit and herbs. Ripe, warm, melting, yet tart fruit, nutty, smoky and dried-vegetable tones, fine acidity, delicate grip, lots of power and noticeable alcohol, good persistence, creamy notes, some apricot, floral nuances, quite clearly salty in the background, very good, albeit a touch melting, alcohol-rich finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
