Brachetto d'Acqui (Acqui) DOCG Brut "Rosé", Piedmont, Italy

Cool and tart, somewhat dried planty to herbal nose with restrained red and black berry aromas, a little yeast and tobacco. Not quite dry, predominantly red fruit, nutty and smoky notes, some yeast, medium-fine mousseux, grip of crumbly tannin, a touch of nut butter on the palate, some persistence, good, sweet finish with nutty tones.
