2019 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Moscato Giallo passito "Quintessenz", Alto Adige, Italy

Somewhat floral aroma of partly preserved, partly dried pomaceous fruit with almondy notes reminiscent of nutmeg, candied stone fruit, hints of honey, dried root vegetables and a hint of tobacco. Very sweet, dried fruit, nutty, yellow-spicy, slightly smoky and vegetal flavours, some bitter orange on the palate, a hint of vanilla, quite lively acidity and some grip, persistent on the palate, notes reminiscent of renegades, a hint of celery, nutmeg and floral notes in the background, has power, very good, firm finish.
