Quite firm, very slightly ethereal scent of ripe mixed berries and a little plums with dried-vegetable and hints of juniper as well as a touch of tar and leather. Warm, dark, somewhat compote-like, relatively dark fruit with nutty-woody, somewhat smoky and almost a little sooty tones, present, crumbly-sandy, slightly drying tannin, a hint of malt, strong and alcoholic on the palate, bitter and also slightly milk-chocolate notes, a hint of coffee, mineral hints in the background, tightens up with air, warm, slightly compote-like-fruity and again clearly wood-spicy finish.

Best to drink: 2023-2028+. What our ratings mean
