2016 Franciacorta DOCG Dosage zero "Vintage Collection" (Deg.: Autunno 2020), Lombardy, Italy

Tart, tightly knit and quite deep stone fruit nose with fine herbal-vegetable aromas, yeast, hints of fresh butter and floral nuances. Juicy and quite nutty in the mouth, dried herbs, yeast and a little smoke, lively, very fine mousseux and grip of crumbly tannin, dense, deep and persistent, quite complex, some power, hints of wood spice in the background, delicate candy tones, again also some butter, floral tones, very good, firm, juicy and grippy finish with a touch of juniper. Great.
