Tart nose, light meaty animal notes, peppery and herbaceous notes, predominantly black berries, hint of tobacco, earthy and mineral notes, hint of bacon and tar. Firm, juicy, tart fruit on the palate, herbaceous, peppery and tarry notes, firm acid bite, firm, very fine tannins, persistent, ethereal notes, good depth, hint of aromatic pepper, touch of citrus zests, oriental spices in the background, some bite and grip on a very good, firm, fresh, spicy finish.
