First signs of maturity on the nose, light nutty notes, spicy traces, black and a few red berries, touch of juniper and some undergrowth. Fairly tart, again fairly mature fruit on the palate, smoky and nutty notes, hint of tobacco, light herbaceous notes, hint of citrus fruit, light acid bite, fairly prominent tannins, noticeable warm alcohol, touch of juniper and some tree bark, slightly astringent on a good, tart, alcoholic finish.
