2006 Barolo DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Red and black berries on the nose, earthy notes, dried vegetal notes and some old oak, noticeable alcohol. Fairly juicy on the palate, slightly oxidative notes, fairly prominent acidity, medium-fine tannins, earthy notes and some undergrowth, pomaceous fruit, good persistence, noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
