Fairly rustic nose, red berries and plums, spicy light tobacco, some oak. Elegant juicyfruit on the palate, some more oak and tobacco, quite fine, fairly prominent and slightly astringent tannins, fairly creamy, good persistence, quite firm, not particularly deep, but pleasant to drink, slightly noticeable alcohol on a good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2010. What our ratings mean
