Quite firm aroma of ripe black berries with slightly toasty aromas, nuts, tobacco and wood as well as very slightly meaty-animalic and peppery hints. Tart, juicy, dark, again firmly knitted fruit, present, rather ripe, fine sandy tannin, dry herbal notes and smoky hints, citrus zest in the background, a little dark ethereal spice and Mediterranean herbs, good persistence and depth, salty hints, coffee grounds, very good, slightly bitterish finish that becomes juicier with air, with a lot of power but also bite.

Best to drink: 2023-2028+. What our ratings mean
