Firmly knit black and somewhat red berry nose with dried herbal aromas, liquorice, emerging animal tones, a little pepper, juniper and a hint of dark chocolate. Ripe and tight, quite juicy, partly preserved fruit with dark wood spice, some bitter chocolate, coffee grounds and juniper, dried oregano in the background, good persistence, lots of alcohol warmth, liquorice notes, very good, still a touch drying, again warm finish with a touch of blood and iron.

Best to drink: 2023-2028+. What our ratings mean
