2010 Chianti Classico DOCG Vigna del Capannino, Gran Selezione, Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat developed, slightly warm nose of mixed berries with a hint of plums, some mushrooms with a hint of dried floral and tobacco nuances. Ripe, tart, again somewhat developed fruit, present, crumbly, yet very slightly drying tannins, nutty flavours, a hint of cocoa, leather and a little salt in the background, good persistence, has power and a certain warmth, very good, very slightly muted finish with smoky hints.
