2008 Valpolicella DOC, Veneto, Italy

Red and some black berries on the nose, light herbaceous and tart vegetal notes. Light-bodied, straightforward fruit on the palate, delicate fruit, light spicy vegetal notes, elegant acidity, slightly sandy tannins, not particularly deep, but fairly polished, still a few months too young, light earthy, elegantly tart notes on an attractive to good finish.
