2008 Bardolino DOC Classico Chiaretto, Veneto, Italy

Fairly shy nose, light red mixed berries, herbaceous traces. Uncomplicated style, fairly firm, partly preserved fruit on the palate, red currants and crisp yellow plums, delicate bitter touch, light herbaceous notes, fairly prominent crisp acidity, has backbone and shows its origins, acceptable to attractive finish.
