Firm, still very youthful aroma of predominantly black berries with a hint of cherries, hints of tobacco, floral nuances and restrained wood spice. Ripe, rather tightly knit dark fruit, present, fine sandy, ripe tannin and some acid bite, good persistence on the palate, slightly toasty notes, bitter chocolate, coffee grounds and a trace of soot, slightly earthy tones, in the background some salt, fleshy nuances and dark Mediterranean spice, lots of power, very good finish with lots of dark juice, smoky-roasty aromas, dry herbs and pepper.
