2021 Roero DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Tart, leathery and somewhat dried floral aroma of black and red berries with hints of tar, herbs and tobacco. Taut, tart, youthful fruit, very present, fine sandy tannins, nutty tones and a little cocoa, persistent on the palate, has power and some depth, a certain acid bite, still undeveloped, salt in the background, a hint of citrus zest and floral to herbal notes, very good finish.
