firm, youthful, somewhat peppery and smoky aroma of ripe black berries and cherries with a hint of liquorice as well as floral and herbal nuances. Tight, tart, undeveloped dark fruit, toasty and somewhat smoky wood flavours, fine sandy, quite present tannin, a trace of coffee grounds, some power and persistence, not eternally deep but very carefully made, very good, quite firm, tart and again somewhat smoky toasty finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
