2019 Barolo DOCG Margheria, Piedmont, Italy

Delicately smoky aroma of ripe red and black berries with tobacco nuances, a little dried flowers, hints of undergrowth, mushrooms and tar. Quite firm, slightly warm fruit with present, ripe tannins, dried vegetal flavours, again tar as well as rather dark barrel notes, power and some persistence on the palate, a little coffee grounds in the background, resinous and delicately bitter-herbal traces, very good, again rather tart finish.
