Behaviourally earthy and tobacco aroma of more red than black berries with a little root vegetables, hints of smoky barrel tones, lots of leather and some tar. Ripe, relatively juicy fruit, moderate wood tones, some nuts, cocoa and tobacco, crumbly-sandy tannin, some persistence, leathery tones, noticeable but integrated alcohol, very light plummy tones, a little soot, very good finish with liquorice notes.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2032+. What our ratings mean
