2016 Barolo DOCG Gabutti, Piedmont, Italy

Warm, slightly wilted floral and earthy fragrance with restrained berry tones, animal traces, dried vegetal nuances and a little tar. Tart fruit with dried vegetable, earthy and tarry notes, noticeable alcohol, crumbly-sandy, still slightly covering tannin, a hint of tobacco and ash on the palate, malty traces, somewhat earthy and slightly peppery, good persistence, very good, tart, alcohol-rich finish
