2008 Lugana DOC Borghetta, Lombardy, Italy

Fairly firm, slightly oxidative nose, apple and citrus fruit, prominent vegetal notes, yeasty notes, some leafy notes and undergrowth. Fairly mature, delicately oxidative, but also quite juicy fruit on the palate, sweetish and creamy, extremely elegant acidity, good persistence, herbaceous and light mineral notes in the background, fairly traditional, even slightly rustic style, good substance, good to very good finish. Unusual, but quite good.
